The Windham Theatre Guild is a non-profit volunteer organization that has been producing quality community theatre at affordable prices since 1985. We welcome hundreds of community volunteers of all ages as we strive to offer live theatrical and musical productions and education in the performing arts that promote the growth, quality and general welfare of the Arts in Eastern and Central Connecticut.
The Guild currently produces eight to ten theatrical productions each year plus a Broadway Chorus Concert, a Chocloate Gala and Auction, a Giant Indoor Tag Sale and various other events that spotlight local performing artists. Attendance has grown from hundreds of people at a dozen performances in 1985 to an average of 6,000 at over sixty performances in a year.
The WTG's expansive program offers a variety of opportunities for members of the community to learn about and experience many aspects of the theatre. The WTG depends on the community for all of its participants. All auditions are completely open and the Guild is constantly looking for volunteers to help in all areas of its productions. If you want to get involved, there is always something to do!
